We’re here to help you every step of the way. Here's how to launch a successful fundraising event in partnership with Hope Through Horses (HTH):

1. Get Inspired and Informed

​

• Join a Live HTH Zoom Meeting
  Learn what’s new at Hope Through Horses and how our programs can benefit you and your practice.

• Explore Creative Fundraising Ideas to Spark Inspiration
  Demo Day*, Music Gathering, Retreats*, Groups*, Wine Tasting, Yard Sales, Birthday or Holiday Celebrations. (* Typically Presented by TBAH Certified Practitioners and/or TBAH Licensed Facilitators.)

2. Plan Your Event

• Make It Your Own
  This is your event—take ownership, get creative, and have fun with it!

• Choose Your Date & Develop the Basics
  Set a date, create a simple plan, and begin spreading the word.

• Submit the Fundraising Support Form
  Once your event date and time are confirmed, fill out the Certified Practitioner Fundraising Support Form on the HTH website.
  → Your event will be featured on the HTH Website Special Events page!

3. Spread the Word

• Rally Your Herd
  Invite Friends, Family and other Touched by a Horse Herdmates to attend and support your fundraiser.

4. Celebrate and Give Back

• Enjoy Your Event!
  Raise funds through HTH to support your practice and bring transformative coaching to your community.

• Funds Allocation
  Once HTH receives $1,500 or more in donations from your fundraiser:

  • 75% of the funds will be allocated toward grants for your practice

  • 25% will go to the HTH General Grant Fund

  • Note: All grants are subject to HTH grant parameters and Board of Directors review and approval.

5. Apply for Your Grant

• Request Your Grant
  Fill out the HTH Grant Request Form under the Programs tab on our website.

• Receive Approval & Implement
  Once approved, you’ll be notified by HTH and may begin the work supported by the grant.

• Request Disbursement
  After completing the approved work, submit the Grant Recipient Invoice & Follow-Up Form (also found under the Programs tab) to receive your funds.
